  • Offering pastoral care for the vulnerable, the sick and the marginalized.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

  • To support the Church Community through prayer, fostering and developing a caring culture and fellowship in Christ.
  • The team encourages one another in love and acts as a reconciliatory body through prayer and fellowship.

THE PASTORAL CARE COMMITTEE:

  • Gives support through prayer in the church, or by visitation if requested, for the sick and their carers in the community.
  • Provides , a prayer team (minimum of two persons, that will work on a weekly rota basis, with the exception of the month of August.
  • Offers prayer, on request, by phone, where applicable.
  • Is proactive in encouraging the Church community to care for each other.
  • Meets once a month to pray and support the members in the Pastoral Care Team. Activities of the team are publicized in the monthly magazine and weekly notices in Church.
