Introductions

St. George & Ethelbert's Church is in Newham, host borough for the London Olympics 2012.

2012 also roughly marks 100 years of St. George's in East Ham. The present building dates from 1937.

Between 1913 and 1937 we used a wooden building, which was demolished after a fire in 1954.

We are glad that you have found our website, but we would also love for you to visit us. We are a very racially diverse congregation. Not a high church, our services contain no Latin or ancient Greek.
